Ibrahim Kholilullah

I am a backend developer in Dhaka, building scalable, high-performance web applications in Node.js and TypeScript. I work across the stack — NestJS and Express on the server, React and Vue on the client — but my centre of gravity is API design, data modelling, and the unglamorous work of making systems that stay up.

I came to engineering by an indirect route. Before I wrote software I spent three years as a teaching assistant at a madrasah, and my degree is in Islamic Studies. Teaching taught me to explain a system by finding the one idea it rests on — which turns out to be most of what code review is.

I believe every line of code should serve a clear purpose and contribute to a system that is easy to scale and evolve.
